I made this abstract acrylic pour, then decided to take it further by adding bits of collage. It created striking abstract painting, but I wanted to paint a face there and overpaint collage, leaving only bird cage untouched. Added lines with gel pens, then photographed my own hand for reference and painted it on her dress. She took me on a journey. I love coming back to these kinds of vibrant, abstract figurative works.
