Second, painting women faces and hands. Third, seeing how their dresses can emerge out of collage. Fourth, deciding what needs to be covered up completely, what should be partially overpainted and what will remain as is, that is a slow stage. Fifth, painting patterns, flowers and details. Six, emphasizing contrasts and working on depth/ perspective. Seven, balancing out calm and busy areas. Eight, bringing in the light!
